Domaine Auvigue New Release
To allow each parcel to present the unique microclimates, the brothers Jean-Pierre and Michel Auvigue, 3rd generation winemakers, always adapt the vinification process to the requirement of each plot. The wines are only lightly filtered before being bottled to retain all the elements required for the development of their true Burgundian nature. Jean-Pierre and Michel are now passing on their expertise and the estate to their nephew Sylvain.
2017 Mâcon-Villages Moulin du Pont
- Grown on clay and limestone in the village of Chaintré, Loché and Milly-Lamartine, stainless steel vats are used during vinification. After fermentation the wine is aged on fine lees for 6 months to add complexity before bottling in spring.
- Aromas of white flowers and white stonefruit with a lovely freshness on the palate. Aging potential 1 to 3 years
