Press Review

Pierro L.T.Cf. Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2016
Comprising mostly cabernet sauvignon and merlot with a touch of cabernet franc, splashes of malbec and petit verdot, too. There's an approachability to this partly aided by gentle extraction, aged for 14 months in French barrels and eschewing new oak. Pretty aromatics, violets and cassis, pepper and spice moving through to a lighter framed palate with fine tannins. Sweet fruit at the core and best drinking now.

Pierro L.T.Cf. Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2016
It has a softness and even flowing charm, mainly red fruits, some spice in a sort of BBQ sauce flavour. Some tannin, fairly fresh, not the deepest, and a subtle savoury finish. Nice wine. Easy to enjoy.
