Winery Details

Since its first release in 1988, the name Parker Coonawarra has represented outstanding quality, longevity and elegance from the region. Based in the very southern end of the Terra Rossa strip, the wines have always embodied a fine, long-lived, classic style. The Hesketh family became the custodians of the vision for Parker in 2013, and have continued with these ideals. The wines offer an exceptional insight into why the Coonawarra region became famous for powerful yet delicious cabernet. This includes a Langton's classification for the flagship First Growth bottling.

Parker Estate Cool Climate Shiraz 2020
Fruit from the Kidman and McLeod vineyards, 10 days on skins, matured in seasoned French oak for 8 months. Coonawarra has a long and established reputation for producing elegant, long-lived shiraz. The beauty here, is that the seasoned oak and relatively short stint within, perfectly sets the fruit up to succeed. It is supported, but not obscured, painting a picture of elegance. The cascade of blackberries, licorice, raspberry and damsons makes for seriously pleasurable mid-week drinking. The price, compelling.

Parker Estate Cool Climate Shiraz 2020
Casual barbecues and camping are all covered with thiswonderfully drinkable Shiraz from Parker Estate. I reckon they‘ve ticked all the boxes with this given thefruit and depth on offer. Aromas of cedar and cardamom throw out the welcome mat. Handfuls of dark berry fruit, dark chocolate and choc dipped cherries drive the flavour profile. The mouth feel presents with some polish before the peppery and exotic spices cut loose on close.
