Since its first release in 1988, the name Parker Coonawarra has represented outstanding quality, longevity and elegance from the region. Based in the very southern end of the Terra Rossa strip, the wines have always embodied a fine, long-lived, classic style. The Hesketh family became the custodians of the vision for Parker in 2013, and have continued with these ideals. The wines offer an exceptional insight into why the Coonawarra region became famous for powerful yet delicious cabernet. This includes a Langton's classification for the flagship First Growth bottling.

Press Review

    Parker Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2018

Smart sips for around 20 bucks. Super reliable as ever with a fancy new label. A great drink to rip into right now to embrace the freshness. It's like a Cherry Ripe in a glass. Rich red berries and dark cherries muse with dark chocolate. Medium bodied, lashings of red plums and soft peppery spices sprinkled atop add further pleasure and linger beautifully. It saw 8 months in second use French oak, and as with the Coonawarra Series tradition, now to the medium term is when it will shine best. A big thumbs up from me - particularly when you find it on special for around $18! Drink now to five years.

    Parker Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2018

This is a soft, rich and cuddly number, not really what you’d expect from Coonawarra. Gorgeous ripe red fruits infused with dollops of chocolate and finished off with pepper and spice. It’s a smooth and tasty mouthful with no harsh not harsh notes or edges getting in the way; sheer pleasure.  BUY

    Parker Coonawarra Estate Shiraz 2018

The 7th vintage of this wine. The grapes were handled to open fermenters, 8-19 days on skins, matured in French barriques and hogsheads for 8 months. A pretty snappy Coonawarra shiraz at this price.
