Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir 12pk 2018
*Available on indent from Lethbridge*
There are few tales as impressive as that of Lethbridge Wines. Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis were both successful medical researchers before succumbing to their desire to create a vineyard and winery in Geelong. They planted vines on their own rootstocks, built a straw-bale winery and house, and farmed the land according to biodynamic beliefs. Their wines are powerful, structured, pure and long-lived.
Lethbridge Mietta Pinot Noir 2018
Following on from a strong ‘17 vintage comes another top year. A rousing, lifted aromatic bouquet fills the glass, all red berries, pomegranate, cranberry, lapsang souchong and exotic spice. A wine still in its infancy, with slow reveals of sweet fruit, dried herbs, bitter chocolate and savoury earth. A fine tannin structure exudes an elegance. Everything in its place and just waiting on time.
