Juxtaposed Shiraz 12pk 2016
Wines of character made by a bunch of characters...The Dodgy Bros are all about small lot winemaking, with fruit from sites that show regional and sub regional characters. They make modern and serious expressions of McLaren Vale wines, but also like to have a good time and don’t take themselves too seriously.
Mainly Shiraz with a little Mataro. Splendid packaging.Dark berries, coconut and chocolate, perhaps a little like a Bounty Bar, but in the best possible way. It’s medium bodied, supple and subtly saline, but also has an earthiness and bouncy bass that brings this baby home. Tannin is fine and well meshed, and the finish features an array of red and black fruits, with a sprinkling of dried herb perfume. Gee, this is very bloody good to drink.
