Flor Marché Longley Pinot Noir 6Pk 2013
Flor Marché is a project by winemaker Elizabeth Reed, focusing on single-vineyard wines from the Swan Valley, Margaret River, and Great Southern in Western Australia. Having worked across Australia and overseas, Elizabeth found herway to Great Southern, where the chance purchase of a couple Tonnes of Riesling started the Flor Marché journey. Committed to single vineyard sites from regional Western Australia, Flor Marché produce minimal intervention wines, with no additions during the winemaking process. Focusing on regional varietals they produce Riesling, Shiraz, and Pinot Noir from Great Southern, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay from the Margaret River, alongside a Grenache off 60 year bush-vines in the Swan Valley.
“Flor Marche has quietly gone about making their presence felt over numerous vintages. The Great Southern-winemaking duo of Elizabeth Reed and Skigh McManus are responsible for this range of wines. They source fruit from several vineyards in the great, wide, dappled expanse that is this isolated region.”
