Fire Gully Chardonnay 12pk 2019
A project led by the brain of Pierro Wines, Dr Mike Peterkin, with wines that express the very essence of Margaret River regionality and quality. Fire Gully wines are recognised for consistent excellence with each passing vintage. The vineyard these grapes are sourced from offers a distinctively different style to the famous Pierro wines, nonetheless they are at least as appealing in quality and style in well-known Peterkin manner.
Fire Gully Chardonnay 2019
Can’t recall having a Fire Gully wine before. It’s produced at Pierro. Charming retro label too. Juicy lime and barely ripe pineapple, digestive biscuit, light cedar oak. It’s full of flavour, slight creaminess, plenty of tangy grapefruit acidity, and a sort of savoury bran and zingy pineapple finish of good length. Really good drinking.
