Elderton Estate Shiraz 12pk 2017

Elderton was founded by Neil and Lorraine Ashmead in 1982, and is now run by their sons, Allister and Cameron. Built around the famous Command vineyard in the centre of Nuriootpa, Elderton also has its own vineyards in Greenock and the Eden Valley. Julie Ashmead leads the winemaking and viticulture teams in crafting distinctly classic, yet refined, Barossa reds that live up to the estate’s history and world class quality.
Elderton Shiraz 2017
It has all the definition and flavours of its region starting with a medley of spiced dark fruit, choc-mint, smoky, earthy and satisfying. Full-bodied with tannins somewhat stern and just clipping the finish.

Elderton Shiraz 2017
Barossa shiraz served soft, ripe and well made. You get what you come for. Blackberried fruit flavour, coffee-cream oak, whispers of earth and a sound, satisfying finish. It’s dark and bold but not gloopy or over-done. Reliable as ever. Drink: 2019 – 2026+.
