Davide Xodo LAMATTA 6pk 2019
After 15 years as a winemaker Davide Xodo realised his dream of starting his own winery in 2018, taking on a long-term lease of an historic cellar and vineyard in the Colli Berici region of Vicenza belonging to Ermido Piva.
Farming his 3.5 hectatres of vines organically, David produces wines from indigenous varieties only found in the sub-region of Colli Berici such as Tai Rosso, and Bianco, as well as imported varietals. Natural ferments without adjustments, or temperature control, Davide makes wines, which speak of both the vintage, as well as the unique characteristics of the region. Sulphur is only added at bottling if at all, and in minimal quanties.
