Tasmanian Wine Show Pinot Noir Producer of the Year 2018

The Bream Creek vineyard was planted in 1990 by Fred Peacock. It has long been considered one of the very best sites and vineyards in Eastern Tasmania. Fred’s wines are concentrated and long, thanks to the mature vines and low yields.

Press Review

Tasmanian Wine Show Pinot Noir Producer of the Year 2018

    Bream Creek Pinot Noir 2015

Tasted after a string of thin, weedy mainland pinots, underlining the richness and depth of the varietal character of this wine. Black cherry, satsuma plum and spicy/forest notes are built on a foundation of ripe and persistent tannins. A prosperous future awaits.

    Bream Creek Pinot Noir 2015

The colour is deep with lots pf purple in it. The wine is concentrated, rich and loaded with black cherry and humus nuances, foresty and suggestive of some whole-bunch fermentation. Full-bodied, fleshy, dense and high-extract. A big wine, with lots of persistence and it packs a lot of oak. Generous flavour - it needs more time. (Tasted September 2017)
